Mold Screening Test – Testing is the first step in mold removal - determining if your environment - home, office, car, etc. - is contaminated by mold. We suggest a simple gravity plate screening test that you can set out yourself and submit to ImmunoLytics Laboratory for accurate results. The lab will analyze the sample for mold type and count and provide you with a full-color report. Lab fees run $30 to $45 per room. Owners of homes up to 3,000 square feet should set out at least 4 test plates; an extra plate should be set out for each additional 1,000 square feet. You should also test your bed/pillows, carpeting, car(s) and pet(s). The more areas tested, the better your understanding of your environmental dynamics.

If you would prefer for us to conduct testing, we will come out and test your home for you for a charge of $145 plus lab fees. If testing is combined with our Healthy Home Survey (see below), the $145 charge will not apply. Additional testing methods are available upon request.

Doctor’s Appointment –Make an appointment with a physician who is familiar with the protocols for mold contamination. We can provide a list of physicians in the Denver area.

Healthy Home Survey – If testing shows you have a high count of mold or certain types of mold, you need to find out where the mold is, why it has been able to proliferate and what steps you need to take for mold removal, as well as the steps to take to prevent the mold from returning. Our Healthy Home Survey form can help you determine problem areas and changes you may need to make in your home to deter mold proliferation. In certain areas of the country we can recommend companies that will perform a Healthy Home Survey at a cost of $395 to $495. This includes state-of-the-art thermal imaging for leak detection and energy loss. You can also have your home tested for mold at this time (if you have not already done so) - you will be charged lab fees for the test portion in addition to the survey fee.

Bio-balancing Botanical Treatment – Medical treatment may not be as effective long-term if you continue to be impacted by your environment. You can bio-balance your home with CitriSafe’s non-toxic, botanically based products. Many products are capable of killing bacteria, eliminating viruses and mold removal. Unfortunately for a percentage of the population, those “chemical cures” can be worse than the mold itself.

In addition to the products available on our website, we can also recommend companies that exclusively use products that are botanically based with an MSDS of zero. One of these products, LV14, is a fogging solution that permeates your entire house reaching even the most inaccessible areas. Bio-balancing costs from $0.80 to $1.75 per square foot (plus travel expenses, if required) depending on the type of mold, the amount of contamination and the configuration of the home. Included in this price: (1) 2-month supply of maintenance products and devices; (2) retesting after treatment (3) re-treatment after recommended changes if testing verifies need ($150 to $1,000 plus travel charges added if over 50 miles).

Improve Your Home - Complete all changes recommended in the Healthy Home Survey. Have your home bio-balanced the second time at no additional charge (except for travel expenses if not local) once changes are completed.
